This is a little advance warning that signups for the 2015 Clay League will begin in the next few days.  All previous players received this email because they have played in the league before.  This year we are adding a 9.0 division and making a couple small changes so we can get back to our roots and allow more women to play.  Ladies get a 10 year bonus in age so a 30 year old woman can play in the 40’s Division and so on.  The 9.0 Division has no age requirements, just the combined USTA ratings of the team on September 1, 2015.  Women in the 9.0 Division will be allowed a half point reduction on their rating so a 5.0 woman can play with a 4.5 man.  We also had to raise the entry fee to help cover the T-Shirt this year.  All the other rules and stuff available on the site under Information.

 

Plan on 3 weekends leading up to the November 1st Finals.  The official announcement will go out soon so get your partner and get signed up as we really need to limit this to 48 players.  I hope you are all in good health and are enjoying life as much as I am.  New Granddaughter this year…….  I am blessed beyond belief.     Ben
